Codan launches Sentry-H High Frequency (HF) Software Defined Radio (SDR)

The expansion of Codan Communications Sentry™ product family has been confirmed with the recent announcement of the Sentry-H™ High Frequency SDR radio system. The new system is a development on the proven Envoy HF SDR platform, delivering secure voice and data communications within an advanced high-power radio package at an affordable price point.
The Sentry-H™ is equipped with state of the art features including second-generation digital voice, frequency hopping, embedded GPS, 3G ALE, and IP/USB connectivity to deliver high-power voice and data within a single RF Unit. The Sentry-H™ platform provides ultimate versatility with a custom-built design for mobile and base configurations. This resolves the need for external amplifiers to allow for quick solutions during emergency operations. The system also features a smart handset and a simplified intuitive menu system facilitating multiple language options.
