CODAN Releases iOS Xtend App Updates

Codan communications would like to announce a range of important updates to the XTEND smartphone app designed for use with the Envoy and Sentry range of SDR HF radio products. The XTEND app can be used on both iOS and Android smartphones, downloadable from the App Store and Google Play respectively. The key new features for the latest release iOS XTEND app v1.2.0 are as follows:

• Add support for DES-56 encryption.

• Add support for Open Digital Voice interoperability waveform.
• Fix for a critical transmit audio issue on iOS versions 16.0 and above.
• Fix for distorted transmit audio on iPad 10.
• Multiple updates to support changes in iOS version 16.0 and above across all Apple devices.
