Codan’s 3592 enables commanders to securely bridge the interoperability gap between multiple vendor fielded radio networks whilst ensuring reliable, clear communications.
The 3592 external Digital Voice Unit provides high grade 256-bit AES encryption using Codan 2nd generation TWELP digital voice at multiple vocoder rates. The compact and robust form factor supports multiple use case scenarios from man portable to vehicular and base station deployments.
Utilising the same vocoder and encryption algorithm as the 2110, Envoy and Sentry-H family of Codan transceivers. The 3592 provides the ultimate flexibility in deployment, while ensuring secure interoperability between units.
Baseband audio (unbalanced 150 Ω audio output from the 3592, configurable from 20mV to +2V RMS)
Unbalanced 600 Ω audio input to the 3592, –35 to +20 dBm (not configurable)
- Supply voltage 4.5 to 18 V DC, 1.5W max, U229 pin F
